Fresh Faces Forward #1
This is a commentary on the structure and societal norms we impose on our children, making them more palatable, compliant, and conforming; often to the detriment of their intrinsic creativity, curiosity, wants, needs and innate knowledge. We bleach and compartmentalize their vibrancy and exuberance...structuring them to adhere to society's expectations. This is reflected by the andamento and colour choices on the right, which transition to arbitrary colours and organic andamento on the left.
Backlit detail included
This is an example of one of my custom portraits. When you choose to order we will review photos and anecdotes of your special someone and discuss your preferences for the portrait. Once the image is chosen, it takes a minimum of 45 working hours to complete a portrait. Sometimes up to 80 depending on the size and detail involved. There is a short wait list, but I do sometimes have flexibility if your timeline is short. Ultimately, it is my goal to reflect the energy of my subject in glass.
You can choose to enjoy it on your wall or hanging in your window
